Try to include the extra flights of all the guests, the heating and lights, all the technical equipment, the media, the fashions, the security, etc in your calculations. If you don't know, at least point me to a site that would help me figure it out.
Also, don't you think if Hollywood was *that* concerned about the environment, they would cancel the awards ceremony?

I had a job at the beginning of the year for a brief amount of time before the business more or less folded. I have not yet recieved a W2 (I know I have some time left), and I'm worried I may not get one. However, I really didn't make that much money at this job, and I remember reading somewhere that if you make less than a certain amount, you don't have to report it on your taxes. Is that true? If so, what is that amount?

We currently have a Dell that was given to us by a very nice organization. The problem is I have 4 teens and a pre-teen, so computer time is way limited. I was browsing on ShopNBC and saw a Laptop from Acer, complete with a Printer, a 17-in LCD monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse, a wirless router...for only 1100. Needless to say, I am skeptical. Is this a good purchase? I am on a serious budget, but a laptop would help me stay on top of my work at home. Please help.

is in my boat. I feel like I live in the movie "You, me and Dupree" but 10x worse. The best friend really needed a place to stay "just to get back on his feet" that was a year ago, and I'm afraid he's never going to leave. I cook, clean up after everyone, watch my 2 year old all day, and work at night. (He does pay a small amount of rent, but I doubt it even pays for the amount of food he consumes)
Tips and advice welcome please. Please no sarcasm, I'm serious. How do I get him out? Or at least get him to help out! He doesn't even say THANK YOU for anything!

Also, before you mention it, no my husband won't ask him to leave. He says that he is his best friend, and they work together, and it would be too difficult to ask him to go. Plus, he has no where else to live, and can't seem to save a penny.

Don't get me wrong......a person has to live with their own ink...but I would scrape my skin off if I woke up from a binge with tribal on my body. Tribal definately has its place....on the skin of people that come from a South Pacific heritage.... There is a survey on the tattooartists website about the type of tattoo they were most likely asked to cover-up and tribal was #2.....right behind Names. Which tells me that most tribal is chosen on a whim based on its "cool" look. If I'm wrong please set me straight.
