in the whiskey locker, put only three of his fingers on my wind pipe, i couldnt breath for about 30 seconds, and then he punched me in the stomach hard, just over a lousy belt buckle!!!! i know most of u in the military category will say the drill instructor done the right thing but hitting recruits is against the law! my question is, why you all condone this type of behavior? i am not a punching bag!!

For example: Somebody would come up to me during class and ask me if I've heard some rap song by some rap artist and if I had it on my iPod, then I would say something like 'I've never heard of that song' or 'I don't listen to that kind of music' and then they would give me this strange look and say 'Really?' like it was the weirdest thing in the world. I love Pink Panther! I've been watching Pink Panther throughout the late 80s and early 90s, I still do sometimes!

My very good old friend is in big trouble.her husband and her best friend in love.and there age is about 50 or more.my friend did love marriage against her perents wish and for them she is dead.now she has no place to go to leave her house.because her husband dosent want to live with her.somehow she is living there but how long she will live like a servent,dog and statue.2nd thing her husband girlfriend is his best friend wife and mother in law of her children her husband is quite reputeted man so he is handling his wife very tactfully and he put all blame to my friend.now my question is what step should my friend take to save her marriage life who is not working since 10 to15 years.if her husband tell just go where she will go?.she has a daughter but she is america and busy in her routine and i think from childhood she saw her perents are fighting so she is used to it.so from daughter side there is no help.and top of that they are NRI.they have no relative at all.please HELP

I have PDA phone I want to sell on ebay. My cell phone provider will send me the unlock codes for a phone once every 90 days. I'm trying to decide whether to use this to unlock the phone before I put it on ebay or to use it to unlock the phone I am keeping for my personal use instead. I'm trying to assess how much more I would get on eBay if I got the phone unlocked first before I sell it versus the hassle of trying to get my current phone unlocked if necessary through some third party service.

Forget taxes, offsetting and voluntary sacrifices, the only way to meet the necessary cuts in carbon emissions is by allocating everyone and equal share that they are allowed to produce.

It’s quite simple. We set a national limit, to be gradually reduced over time, divide it by the population and bingo: your individual carbon allowance. People who want to travel by plain or leave their heating on max all autumn can buy any excess carbon rations from those sustainable enough (or to poor to burn lots of fuel) and have some left over.

The question is, in this current climate of ‘no such thing as society’ and individualistic self righteousness, is their enough demand for a system that would so restrict out lives?

Would you vote for carbon rationing?

If not, what would it take to convince you?

I live with my fiance, Rex. I am 23 and he is 26. He works full time and is in graduate school. I work part time and go to grad school as well. His brother, Tom who is 24, moved in with us becasue he got a job in our town. He lived 30 mins away prior to this arrangement. Tom is driving me effing crazy! He never does his dishes, the bathroom is gross after he uses it (sometimes he does not shower for three days!) He leaves candy wrappers and crumbs. The other day he even left the front door unlocked. Now, I have compained to my fiancee, Rex, and he has talked with Tom, but nothing much has changed. On top of it, Rex and Tom's parents told Rex that he and I woudl have to put up woth it. So on top of all that crap, Rex's parents will treat him like he is the ****** if we kick him out. What would you do?
