The stands at Soldier Field Sunday afternoon would have been a paradise for Karl Marx as there was no evidence of class to be found anywhere in the stadium.
One so-called 'fan' held a sign reading "Bears Finishing What Katrina Started". Saints fans were harrassed and even physically assaulted, including a news reporter.

Al Capone may be history, but apparently Chicago is still a cesspool of a town filled with thugs, ran by the Democratic Party mafia of Dick Daley.

I'm not a Bears or Saints fan. I'm just an observer of human (mis)behavior.

Yea sorry but all you who said "fans will be fans" or "they were just excited" are full of sh!t. If you cannot conduct yourself properly at a sporting event, and be magnaminous in victory, gracious in defeat - then go watch a soccer game with the hooligans. This is America and we (most of us) set higher standards than the rabble of the lesser nations of the world.

It didn't surprise me. I've live near Chicago and their fans don't have a whole lot of class. Not as bad as Phili fans. But they don't follow their team, or bash the Bears when they struggle. Then they all talk smack when they start winning, like they were there all along. When they're losing take a look at how many people are at Soldier Field. So this latest act fit them. It's too bad the NFC was so weak this year, this team doesn't deserve to be in the Super Bowl. Well, at least Manning will get his ring.

I am a Saints fan and thought that sign went overboard. However, you have to get over it. It's just a game and fans will be fans. You have to hand it to the Bears though in that the defense probably played their best game of the season. They were awesome and took it to New Orleans.
We'll just have to wait until next year and I am sure if New Orleans were to play the Bears there will be some interesting signs from New Orleans fans. What goes around comes around!

You cant blame chicagoans for being over ecxited its been 21 years since the last superbowl. Its not like the chicago bulls when Jordan #23 was still playing and we are racking up NBA trophies llike there is no tomorrow and it became like a normal thing...

i personally donated 500$ to the red cross after Katrina , the city had collections from the richest corners to the poorest. as well as taking refugees, when people from around Louisiana would not.if fans were too exited it probably had to do with the taunting saint fans did pregame as well as the taunting Reggie bush did during the game. by the way FEMA spend 115,000,000 rehabbing the superdome instead of rebuilding schools and hospitals.
And you are retarded if you compare a football game to Marxism and call the way the city, state and federal government acted during Katrina acceptable. that's Marxism, leaving the lower class to an afterthought.
nice avatar by the way

That may be but they still won. People can cry about the bears winning and that it is so terrible that the saints lost because they needed money for this or that. Get over it the bears where CLEARLY the better team. So suck it up and move on. Bears fans where just excited is all quit complaining.

I was a Bears season ticket holder at one time and the games turned into a drunken brawl in the stands. Anyone with a sweatshirt or jersey that was of the visiting team took their life in their hands. The Cubs games are getting bad also especially the night games in the outfield bleachers

I'm not aware of Marx being in favor of "class"less people. Oh wait maybe you don't understand what Marx meant. Although if you are so against him you proably don't. His point against class and wanting a classless society was a very good point and good plan. Now I will admit that the Bears fans seem to be sore winners, not going to argue that.

I'm a Bears' fan and I don't approve of that sign. However, I haven't heard any stories of Saints' fans being assaulted. I need you to provide some sources prove those actions.
