i have a crush on this guy, we just exchange glances and smiles, but i want to know him better, should i make the first move?

Why not? At least you get a chance to know him better. Just go up to him and say hi. Ask him if he is intersted for a walk or a drink. It's doesn't hurt even if he rejects you. At least, you will find out if he likes you rather than you keep on pondering and start having fantasies. Some guys are just shy.

You go girl. Don't wait for a shy, lazy or socially inept boy to make you happy. Looking back from almost half a life time now I can tell you that I regret some things that I failed to do but I have precious few regrets over things I've done.
Relax, be yourself and have fund with it. You're only young once.

true, some guys like confidence, but it is in men to want to pursue, unfortunatnly I was too eager in a past relationship and tried to make too many of the first moves and it pushed him away. If a guy REALLY likes you he will pursue you, and pursue you hard.
Maybe take it slow and if he doesn't make a move, most likely he's not as into you as you are into him.

I dont see why guys should always have to make the first move, in this modern world with equality and all a girl shuold be able to make a move, go for it!

Yes it's ok but don't make your move how guys do it by being flirty because they are going to look at you as a play toy not a girl friend

yes.go for it.girls shouldnt always wait on a guy to make a move.guys alot of times are unsure what the girl wants and doesnt want to be turned down.if a girl makes a move,then it would make him feel better knowing that she also likes him.Good luck!!

I think its fine to make the first move, if you think he feels the same then go for it. he may want to ask you out but doesnt know how to do it. i made the first move with my partner and weve been married 6 years now!

Of course you should! If you really like him, be brave, and go up to him and ask him to hang out sometime. See what he says, if he says no, don't be crushed just say some other time then, and if he says yes, start planning what you'll do!
