I suddenly feel strange in my own life. I've lived in my apt. for two years, had the same job for two years, and lived in this city for 3 1/2 years, though it's all the way across the country from my family. I've been happy here, but lately I feel uncomfortable in all of my surroundings, for no apparent reason. I feel like I need to move on in my life...this city (LA) is fast-paced and I haven't felt true meaning for awhile. The main thing is the unfamiliarity. My own apt. feels strange, EVERYTHING does. I find myself craving moving to like Iowa or something, which would be even stranger, but it feels like I would feel more at home!!! Why are my own surroundings suddenly feeling like I'm a guest in my own life, and like my vacation is about to end, and all I want to do is go home, but this IS home?! I know, I must just be crazy...!!! Any thoughts?

I've been having some mild headaches in the last year or so, so I thought I'd get my eyes tested seeing as I haven't in about 15 years, just in case. I was sure there was nothing wrong with my vision at all, and the optometrist told me that I was right, I actually have perfect vision - but I need glasses apparently, because the muscles in my eyes have to work harder because they turn in or out naturally, I forget which one... I have to say I'm really surprised as I thought glasses were only for poor vision - does anyone know anything about this?

I am trying to remember what an episode is but I only can remember one part. Carrie, in one of the final scenes, is sitting at a coffee shop alone - and says something like, "I sat alone, with no book, no phone, just me" or something like how she is sitting alone with nothing to distract her. I want to get Fall Out Boy tickets for the show in Boston. They go on sale tomorrow, but the internet presale for fan club members is today. If anyone wants to give me the password, I'd appreciate it. I just want to make sure I get these tickets, they are my boyfriend's Christmas present. When I hear the term Political Correctness I usually think Liberal, but that is not always the case. There are many people out there who's political devotion varies from Republican to Democrat and inbetweens. What bothers me is how a lot of these people are such crybabies. If an entretainer makes a racial or ethnic joke, why can't people just laugh and let it go, it is a joke. Why do some people feel that they are being racist when they do so. Now I do notice that when lets say a Hispanic comedian makes a Chinese joke, people complain, but when a Chinese comedian does the same joke, it's fine. It should not be selective, if one goes down so should the other, or better yet, let it go. I'm too tired of everyone complaining and trying to censor everything this side of the Atlantic.

But, the computer's CPU Usage hovers between 50% and 80% while retrieving pages.

Would a new computer with a faster CPU likely make the pages load more quickly?

I work in a small office and we all exchange gifts. My boss is Jewish and celebrates Hannukah. Should I give him a Christmas present or just a general holiday gift and what day would be appropriate - ie. during Hannukah or when everyone else exchanges gifts?

I am 8 and a half weeks pregnant and I am constantly sick. I don't know why they call it morning sickness anyway cause it lasts throughout the day. I sleep all the time and my stomach hurts on and off all day. I throw up twice a day but nothing really comes out. How can I reduce this sickness? I am miserable!
