Vanessa Williams was Miss America, there IS a difference. I don't believe that Tara Conner deserves to keep her crown, but the MS. USA pagent is far from the Miss America. It by far has different standards of behavior. I also believe that Tara's tears and all were just a performance on Tuesday.

Tara Conner got her crown stripped because she was drinking under age and this was not her first time and her behaviour is outrageous and she is pretty obnoxious as well.

My theory is that it is a set-up. The pageant could stand getting more press. Paris Hilton's skyrocketing fame proves an old journalistic principle: sex sells, and scandalous sex sells better. My old journalism teacher told me that three things sell newspapers: sex, scandal, and corruption. This gives the Pageant all three, and you can bet Mr. Trump's marketing people know that. I didn't even know who Tara Conner was before this story broke.

They found her in bars, and she is supposed to be a role model so that means absolutely no drinking and I think they said something about bad behavior too.
