Vanessa Williams was Miss America, there IS a difference. I don't believe that Tara Conner deserves to keep her crown, but the MS. USA pagent is far from the Miss America. It by far has different standards of behavior. I also believe that Tara's tears and all were just a performance on Tuesday.

Underage drinking? No, it's something more serious.
'Miss USA Tara Conner is on the verge of losing her crown after testing positive for cocaine, lustily kissing Miss Teen USA in public and sneaking men into their Trump Place apartment, sources tell the Daily News.'
Btw I don't think that Tara should be dethroned. Neither she nor Katie Blair did anything bad. These blondes just wanna have fun.

Tara Conner got her crown stripped because she was drinking under age and this was not her first time and her behaviour is outrageous and she is pretty obnoxious as well.

She also was sorting cocaine. Kissed Miss Teen USA in a sexual way on the lips. Bringing men back to her apartment that she shares with Miss Teen USA and Miss Universe. She needs to go!

My theory is that it is a set-up. The pageant could stand getting more press. Paris Hilton's skyrocketing fame proves an old journalistic principle: sex sells, and scandalous sex sells better. My old journalism teacher told me that three things sell newspapers: sex, scandal, and corruption. This gives the Pageant all three, and you can bet Mr. Trump's marketing people know that. I didn't even know who Tara Conner was before this story broke.

She's 20 and was seen drinking in a NYC bar. Under-age drinking is a no-no for Miss USA.

from the article on yahoo news: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061215/ap_on_en_ot/miss_usa
it sounds like underage drinking: "pageant officials and NBC met Tuesday to discuss Conner's alleged bad behavior, 'including her conduct at New York City bars'....'Behavior such as underage drinking is clearly prohibited,' she said."
tho they arent officially saying yet: I can't really talk about it now," Trump said. "But we have to make a decision."

They found her in bars, and she is supposed to be a role model so that means absolutely no drinking and I think they said something about bad behavior too.
