Who is head of this department. I live in Georgia and it is obvious they could care less about the welfare of children. My granddaughter is in foster care and has finally been placed with the paternal aunt. She is now in a loving, caring, stable home. Now DFACS is considering returning her to her mother even though she has not been able to do anything they required of her. She is so irresponsible...she is my daugher and I know that she will not care for this child. It is so obvious, she only visits about every 7-8 weeks. But she lives near-by....her excuse is that she is so tired. Before she was in the aunts care she was in foster care for 7 months. DFACS has lost all record of the 6 foster homes she stayed at. Advocacy has examined her and is convinced there was abuse. This poor baby is only 2 years old. I have got to talk to someone with a little sense...she just can't be yanked out of this home...she is finally stable.

was seeing ths guy and one day I text messaged him about my earrings, and then left him a voicemail explaining that i needed to know if they were at his house, because i was wearing them to go out, he text messaged me five minutes later and told me not to call him anymore, because he did not like me and that he would tell my sorority sisters about our relationship...and he would tell other people as well, and that I should know that he has a girlfriend and she is a member of my sorority(keep in mind that i did not know he had a girl,so the next day I get a call(from his best friend) who is also one of my sorority sisters calls me and invites me to an event that he was hosting? And I 'm like this is weird, because she has never called me..So What do you think was the cause of his/her behavior? do you think she knows something, or maybe he told her something,?Or was it a coincidence that she calls me asks me to go out with her after I ahdn't heard from her in over eight months

From foot-binding (and to a lesser extent, high heels), to neck rings, plates in lips, circumcision and piercings, among other things, human beings have long found it fashionable to mutilate or harm themselves for fashion/status. I can't talk - I have a bunch of piercings in my ears (though they don't hurt, and I know the holes will heal if I take out the earrings). But why is it we do these things to ourselves?

I was diagnosed with dyslexia at six years old and was put into special classes for three years. I'm now 27 (almost 28) and a college student. I love to read, solve math equations, and able to take notes. I even take notes for a couple disabled students in my courses. I was talking to the girl I take notes for in my geology course and it turns out the reason she cannot take her own notes is that she's dyslexic. I'm just curious about how this can be. Is it because I had special classes to help me adapt to my condition whereas she didn't? I guess I just don't know a lot about it since it never really effects my life, well besides occasionally misspellings and wrong word choices. Can someone shed some light on this for me?
