was seeing ths guy and one day I text messaged him about my earrings, and then left him a voicemail explaining that i needed to know if they were at his house, because i was wearing them to go out, he text messaged me five minutes later and told me not to call him anymore, because he did not like me and that he would tell my sorority sisters about our relationship...and he would tell other people as well, and that I should know that he has a girlfriend and she is a member of my sorority(keep in mind that i did not know he had a girl,so the next day I get a call(from his best friend) who is also one of my sorority sisters calls me and invites me to an event that he was hosting? And I 'm like this is weird, because she has never called me..So What do you think was the cause of his/her behavior? do you think she knows something, or maybe he told her something,?Or was it a coincidence that she calls me asks me to go out with her after I ahdn't heard from her in over eight months

Just to add a few more details, I heard that the guy I was dating and his best friend whom had called me fell out, and she talked about getting a clip, when invited to one of his frat functions(whatever that means) so obviosly she's mad about something, I know it's not about other women,....but when I did call her back after I got her voicemail, she lied and said that the she didn't have anyone to go with, and that it was over,...so..I don't know what to think, one is it a coincidence that she called me right after me and the dude got into it, and two, why would she lie about the event being over?

I"m not to sure about this, but something don't sound right.
If I were you, I wouldn't go.
Just back out gracefully and say that you already have plans for the evening.
Do NOT give any details of why or where your going.
And leave that guy alone.

No....No....No......Your friends are trying to set you up so they can make a laughing stock out of you! Don't fall for it. Bring a "whoppee cushion" and some "cigarette loads." Also...you can slip a "Laxative" into whatever their drinking. You can get the last laugh....believe me!

i would think she knows something. i would not go to the event. however, if you are just really curious about it, i would be cautious.

I would not go. They may have something planned that may not be very nice.
