My sister-in-law developed post-partum psychosis shortly after giving birth and has been sectioned. Its very upsetting. What's the long-term prognosis? Is this illness specifically linked to pregnancy and will therefore totally resolve itself in time (with medication if required)? Or is there a possibility it will continue for a significant length of time and develop into a more chronic form of depression or mental illness? My sister-in-law has suffered from depression in the past but nothing as severe as this.

We were upstairs and the door bell goes, he goes to answer and no ones there.
When l'm about to go home, whoever knocked on the door posted there number through the door, the note read "call me" with a number and lots of kisses.
What should l mkae of this?
He says it's an ex from when he first bought the house.

I live in Oregon. I have met several world travelers that say Oregon is the closest to paradise they have seen. Diverse weather, without the extremes, beautiful scenery, etc. But the only other place I have been is california. to those of you who have visited oregon, what do you think, what parts did you see? Any recommendations? Other places you have been?

That's a double standard in the worst way.

Why do you think thinking like this continues in this day and age?

Nobody is pausing to consider what could possibly drive there people to do these heinous acts......they rush to call them barbarians and savages...but wait they didn't attack the jews when they first started emigrating..nor did they attack when Israel was established (Hamas and Hezbollah weren't established till the 80s mind you) so I ask you guys who love to blame the palestinians Explain to me why the Palestinians have turned to these terrible alternatives and did them about a good 60 years after Israels birth? I don't think they just woke up and said "I'm gonna blow up a Bar!"......by the way to beat you to the chase.....Islam has nothing to do with it..for the majority of suicidal and explosive terrorists are not muslim nor even arabic though the most famous ones are.....or else there would be over 1 billion mad bombers out there...but there isn't..so you guys who love to scapegoat arabs throw your ideas

Stayed at a small hotel in Amsterdam, July 2006. I found bed bugs all over my bed on the second night of my stay. Returned home with red sores from bites all over my body. No compensation from hotel, and manager actually stated that the bugs came in through an open window. I have seen bed bugs before in New York City, these were bigger and in much greater numbers. I am concerned that the hotel was so quick to deny any problem and I can only imagine how many other travelers will run into the same problem. Hotel Rainbow Palace - Amsterdam.

My husband has been in Iraq for the last yr &1/2 due home next mo. The town we live in only has a casino and many bars. I don't do the bar scene so needless to say I spent many nights at the casino. And I spent ALOT of his money. I have not told him. Eventually, yes I will honesty is very important to me, but my overriding concern is that I owe him this money and want it to be there when he comes home, he worked WAY too hard for it. Should I take out a personnal loan? I just want him to have his money back. I just wonder what the rate on a personnal loan is, but at the same time no matter what it is, that way i would definitly pay the money back because i would have to. A concern is that when he comes home, he doesnt have a vehicle and we will have to take out a loan to get one. I didn't spend everything, I did pay off all his debts, about $5000,and i did buy 8000 worth of savings bonds if i take out a secured loan against the bonds will that be a problem when he applies for a car loan

-I bet if you look around you, you will see pictures on the wall of those who love you. SOMEONE DOES LOVE YOU
-I bet if you look at your caller id, you will see how many people thought of you enough to call you today
-I bet that no matter where you are right now, your mother prayed for you today.
-I bet that if you have a dog, and you call him to you, he will come to you because he loves you unconditionally.
-I bet if you have children, and you look upon them sleeping, your eyes will tear and your heart will swell with all the love you have for them. Think about how many times your parents did that to you!
-I bet if you are experiencing turmoil and pain in your life, and things are dark and bleak, you can look back on other bad times and congratulate yourself for surviving those too!
-I bet this will anger someone because it is not a question...to those people I apologize, but sometimes we need a reason to smile, a reason to remember to smile....God Bless and xoxoturtlegirl
