Stayed at a small hotel in Amsterdam, July 2006. I found bed bugs all over my bed on the second night of my stay. Returned home with red sores from bites all over my body. No compensation from hotel, and manager actually stated that the bugs came in through an open window. I have seen bed bugs before in New York City, these were bigger and in much greater numbers. I am concerned that the hotel was so quick to deny any problem and I can only imagine how many other travelers will run into the same problem. Hotel Rainbow Palace - Amsterdam.

Yeah i'd say housework isn't preserving or the inn vendors (probably extra like hotels) have become slum lords. I continuously idea mattress insects were those that fed on lifeless pores and skin/dander/nails/hair and stuff like that leftover. that is why we were continuously taught (stupid as this sounds) to vaccum around the sting of your mattress, style of in between the mattress and body very typically or perhaps your mattress is a good suggestion once you're doing all of your seasonal mattress flipping (no longer certain people even attempt this anymore). Wash the linens in many situations and yet another excuse showering is major lol. i do not imagine they live on people or some thing... i'd be incorrect. that is rather undesirable although. i have heard this about places like Econo hotels and any funds inn kind of joint. i'd rather sleep in my automobile than a number of those places.

One thing you should do is go to tripadvisor.com and write a comment on the hotel so people that are researching it will know NOT to go there.
