Let's have a look at some of the christian areas in the world and see why they are christian.

Africa

European christians invade Africa, kill hundreds of thousands, enslave others, steal land, destroy local traditions and beliefs and replace them with christianity.

North America / Australia

European christians invade, steal land from the native population, nearly wipe out the native population and then come in such droves as to come to completely dominate the area after several generation.

Central America / South America / Phillipines

European christians invade, kill hundreds of thousands, enslave others, steal land, destroy local traditions and beliefs and replace them with christianity.

It's a sad fact the christian missionaries played an important role in this massacre of people and of tradition and culture all in the name "god".

The spread of christianity worldwide doesn't quite seem as glorious now does it ?

Islam doesn't fare much better.

I'm planing to drive from Vegas to Yosemite NP in late Aug. I'll depart in the early morning, drive through the Death Valley NP, take route 395, and spend the night in Mammoth Lakes. I've booked Curry Villiage for the next two days in Yosemite. It's been suggested to do so because it's a long way between Vegas and Yosemite. Also, there are some great views along the road that is worth spending a whole day to take a easy drive. Please provide me your suggestion. How many hours it would take for this drive? Are there really some good scenic spots along the road that we should take some time on it? How should I arrange my time in that day? Any suggestion to stop for the lunch? Thanks a lot!!!

One day, in a small town in the middle of no-where, a redneck wearing nothing but jeans and suspenders was pumping gas into his pinto at the local gas station. To his surprise, a rich man in a Ferrari pulled up next to him to pump gas into his $600,000 car. As the rich man was pumping gas he looked over at the bewildered redneck. Noticing the admiration on his face the rich man asked, in a cocky tone, "what, you wanna race farm boy?" Not one to back down to a challenge the redneck replied in a defiant tone "I sure do city boy!"

Shortly after that, the two men had there cars lined up on a super long stretch of straight road. The two men were standing in between the two cars discussing how to insure a fair start.

They finally concluded that the rich man would hold up 3 fingers and do a count down. When the last finger dropped they would go for it. So the rich man opened his door and stepped into his car, then the redneck walked around to the door of his car and climbed in.

I have a family member that has been a full time employee of a local company for many years (we'll call the company "Bigco"). When a one time job came up at Bigco, my relative referred me to his employer. I began the job right away - painting a laboratory on Bigco's grounds. This lab was an inside a warehouse. In this warehouse broken glass and water were on the floor throughout. During the course of my work day I reeled in a hose over the warehouse floor, in so doing I cut my hand. Two days later I was hospitalized with a life threatening infection - flesh eating bacteria. I am, almost wo months later, just now recovering. Is the owner of Bigco liable in any way since the orignal injury happened there?

i am in a no win situation with my wife
i am a head chef and short on staff so am having to work upto 15 hours a day due to summer and hoards of customers
i still make sure i have two days off although i have had to go in to work to help out the last two weeks due to staff being under pressure, on my off days i wake early to take care of our three month old daughter which i love while her mum works the two days i have off
i get attacked verbally or emotionally when i get home most nights. my wife seems to blame me for being busy at work which i feel is a little harsh as its a sign that i am good at what i do surely
i know that in a month or two it will be less strain as the weather will mean the customer abundance will drop off and i will have more time to spend with her and the baby. i do all i can, i cook for her every day and as i said take care of the baby when i can, i try my best to do things on my evenings off with her yet she still moans, i rarely even get a cuppa made

In the Old Testament, god talks through a burning bush. He turns a staff into a snake, makes the Nile a river of blood, with no life in it.. And he kills every first-born in Egypt, with exception to those that have goat's blood (!) on the door. All because his Kanaan people aren't allowed out of Egypt, out of slavery. When the pharaoh does let them go, after being scared and hurt so much, he goes mad - chases the godly people to the sea and ends up drowning. Suppose this all actually happened.

Now here's a question: If you'd been in Egypt at that time, would you believe this a god, a devil, a daemon, or would you be too scared to think?

Who could have possibly known about Adam and Eve and how they came about? Who was there when all of those things happened? Who was there when Jesus said this, when Jesus said that? When he did this, when he did that?

Life extention will happen, either through rejuvenation or memory transfer into a clone.

As religion is based around death and the afterlife, will religion survive in the time of eternal life and no death. And if it does, how will it change?
