In the Old Testament, god talks through a burning bush. He turns a staff into a snake, makes the Nile a river of blood, with no life in it.. And he kills every first-born in Egypt, with exception to those that have goat's blood (!) on the door. All because his Kanaan people aren't allowed out of Egypt, out of slavery. When the pharaoh does let them go, after being scared and hurt so much, he goes mad - chases the godly people to the sea and ends up drowning. Suppose this all actually happened.
Now here's a question: If you'd been in Egypt at that time, would you believe this a god, a devil, a daemon, or would you be too scared to think?
