San Antonio

If so, when did they start to come out?

I'm in Fort Worth, TX and it has just begun to get warm and spring like, but the leaves still have not started to bud or come out yet. I was wondering if they've started to bud in San Antonio or Austin. (or even farther south like Corpus Christi or Brownsville) Last year the trees started to come out around March 1st here in DFW. We will be down there for a week and I have 3 children ages 4,2,1 so what are some things that we will be able to do for fun while we are down there. We are going down there so that we can find a nice place to live my husband is getting transfered so we are wondering what type of things there are that I can do with the children while we are there for the week. Me and my family are planning a trip to San Antonio and i know 4 sure were going to Sea World.. I dont think i will beable to stay at sea world for 4 days so im kinda looking 4 other things to do well were there. We have never been to Texas so im trying to make the most of this. We are driving down there from Minnesota =) Please if U have any ideas on what could be fun 4 the kids let me know. I will be 7 months Pregnant so fun 4 me will kinda be out the door im more or less hoping they have a good time. Thanks alot!

My niece is getting married in Kilgore Texas and I thought we would drive on down to San Antonio and see the sights. I know we want to do Sea World. What else is fun?
Also I'd like to drive into Mexico one day and look around - any suggestions?

Can anyone tell me just how hot and humid it is and what kind of clothes I will need to bring? And tell me about the hurricanes too, how bad can it get? Will it be cold when there are hurricanes?

this is a special romantic trip with my man when he comes home for R&R i want a good place right on the riverwalk like 150 bucks a night. i'm considering hawthorn suites, i just have a hard time spending so much money without actually seeing the place. so anyone who has stayed in some nice hotels in san antonio, let me know.
