how far is miami from west palm beach or are they the same place?

We've decided not to do Christmas at home this year, we would like to take a plane somewhere. I currently live in Philadelphia and would like to take my three boys ages, 5, 12 & 18 on a vacation this Christmas. Can you offer any reasonable vacation spots. I looked in Disney World, they are expensive and don't have all inclusive vacation pacakages.

cost an arm and leg, we were there 2 years ago and stayed @ the Holiday Inn, my rating with that is about a 2 . Every where you stay in SB it cost to park at the hotel. I would like to stay on the boardwalk and near Linclon rd, but when I read the reviws for the hotels it scareds the crap out of me. So if someone has stayed in a decent hotel before and loved everything about it and pri$e, give me a holler. Thanks

i will be staying at the courtyard marriot ocean. at 3925 collins avenue. how do i travel to lincoln road by bus? which bus do take to and from lincoln road to the hotel and back??? hoew long does it take??

and i want to go to aventura mall from the hotel?? which bus and how long??? same bus back and forth??

I am thinking to move to Homestead since you get more for your money if you compare it to miami. We are moving from Puerto Rico and we have a 6 and 4 year old. Education is very important to us since both of our children are gifted and they are into chess, ballet, piano, girls scout and taekwondo. I am a clinical psychologist and basically I am looking for a very relax, tranquil, friendly, family oriented community with a good elementary school near. Any ideas? I would appreciate any feedback about Homestead. My husband will be working in Medley and I heard that traffic is so intense that it can take him an hour and a half to get there from homestead is this true?
