We've decided not to do Christmas at home this year, we would like to take a plane somewhere. I currently live in Philadelphia and would like to take my three boys ages, 5, 12 & 18 on a vacation this Christmas. Can you offer any reasonable vacation spots. I looked in Disney World, they are expensive and don't have all inclusive vacation pacakages.

If you want to try something a little bit closer, my family spent Christmas in Williamsburg Virginia one year and it was lovely. You could drive there to so it would save some $$ as well.

We also spent Christmas in Las Vegas one year, which was super cheap and fun, but probably not the best with most kids. Although there are a lot of family things to do in Vegas these days.

Arizona is another great option--- or New Mexico. Sante Fe is beautiful, and the weather is terrific.

As I'm thinking about it, you could probably get a great deal to the Carribean, the Dominican Republic or Costa Rica that time of year as well... I'm sure that would be less than Disney, and a lot more authentic.

Unfortunately I have been getting several calls for Christmas and the prices to me are reasonable in certain areas, but many people don't think so. It really depends on your definition of reasonable really.

Christmas travel is HUGE and this is something you should have tried to look into 6 months ago to ensure better rates. It is all based on availability and of course depending on the destination things are pretty picked over at this point.

Someone had mentioned "cheap in the Caribbean". Holiday travel is never cheap, just again matter of what you consider a good price. All Inclusive resorts are only for the Caribbean and Mexico. There are none in the US. The only thing that Disney would have if you stayed on-site is a meal plan which is expensive yes, but worth it considering the cost once you get there you do save money.

I could try and help you, but I would need more information in order to do so. Feel free to email me and I can try to then ask a few questions and do my best to find what you are not only wanting to stay around budget wise and location wise =)

Consider getting a vacation rental instead of a hotel. When you find a location to visit, search online for vacation rentals. If you are staying someplace for several days, it ends up being cheaper than a hotel. Also, there is a kitchen so you don't have to eat out all the time.

Anything like Disney World is going to be very expensive. Perhaps your boys might enjoy a trip to the Caribbean as a vacation from a Philly winter. Puerto Rico or the Florida Keys are some good spots.

Have fun!

Well, to help you out, Disney does offer all-inclusive vacation packages. You just book everything with Disney directly. You get your hotel, dining plan and tickets all in one click online or in one phone call. You can stay on a budget. We do it every time we go.
Consider Disney's value resort, The All Star. Or somewhere off property but nearby. There are a ton of nice but inexpensive hotels near Disney.

Believe it or not some of the best deals are all-inclusives to Mexico!

I found a resort stay Dec 21-28 that includes airfare (non-stop round trip Phil to Cancun Riviera Maya), hotel, & food are all included and can be as cheap as $2800 for 5 people for a week in Cancun!

I am a travel agent and have my own online booking engine.

If this is not in the price range you are needing please let me know.

I would be glad to help any way I can.

Good Luck on your search!
