I'm moving from Oklahoma to Florida.

A friend told me he paid at least $30 worth of tolls when driving through Florida to Miami.

Is there an expressway or interstate route.

DO NOT take the Expressway... take I-95 on which there are no tolls. Also, through Orlando, avoid anything like the 408 or the 417 which are both toll roads. Take the 528 (a toll road but only a total of $2.75) to I-95... if you really want to avoid all tolls, take Rte 192 from I-4 to I-95. Check the maps and this is hte best way to avoid tolls but seriously, the killer road in FLA is the Expressway!!

Well, you can just avoid the toll roads. I-10 & I-95 have no tolls. I-75 has no tolls from the border to Naples & then a toll the 90 mi. or so to Ft. lauderdale. But you can skip that by taking the Tamiami Trail (US 41) from Naples to Miami. Or you can take the three main North-South US highways: US 41 on the West Coast (only toll is on the Bridge out of St. Pete); 27 in the center & US-1 on the East Coast.
