well, you'll see when you get there. Yeah, the girls are amazing, the bars and clubs stay open late and the beach is awesome.

Because it's so over-the-top with glitz and glam and sophistication.
It's got alot of energy and activity of a typical city center.
And all that competion for attention and 'to be seen' means expensive clothes, less clothing, fancy sunglasses, expensive cars... you get the idea.
The restaurants are good, service tends to be slow (if you are from the North).
Commuting wise, it's difficult to get off the SoBe area using mass Transit alone, you'd have to take a bus.

It definitly can be us woman we keep in shape and it may be the men they keep in shape too and it may be also the liberty to just be..most say the beach is lousy because our turisits that come forget they are visiting and leave their trash on the beach, we are not your gofers to go behind you picking up what you discard clean up after your selves and stop throwing up after allnight drinking in our gutters .. how would you like a taste of the same in your home town. NO! not all people are gay or bi just the one's who visit and then stay. and start their own community.

South Beach is a lousy beach if you are i nterested in swimming - otherwise it is the place to be - bring your wallet.
