We are going on vacation from the U.S. to London this summer. We will staying in a hotel somewhere in the city for 5 days, so it's safe to assume we will be dining out for most, if not all, meals. About how much money can we expect to spend for all 5 of us, 2 adults, 3 children. We don't have expensive tastes, so we don't plan on eating at any upscale restaurants. Also do they have fast food chains there, eg. McDonald's? If we take a bus/taxi somewhere, will we have to lug around our 2 year old's carseat? Any tips on vacationing in London would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have Spina Bifida and live in the U.S.A., my boyfriend lives in London and I would like to move there to be with him. He doesn't have Spina Bifida so he can't really tell me what I can do medically to live there comfortably.

I would like to know who can tell me about medical supplies and how to get them delivered to his home when I move in, and what is the best hospital to go to in London for Spina Bifida patients. I am also looking for friends who could help me and who can relate to my situation. Also, can you explain how NHS works?

IF YOU DON'T have Spina Bifida please do not answer my question. Also, if you could please give me your e-mail address, I will e-mail you mine and also add you to my buddy list on Yahoo or MSN. Thank you very much for your help. Best answer gets 10 points. God Bless!

My mom wants to know if she would have enough time to catch a 430pm flight from Heathrow to LAX if she lands at Luton at noon. I understand the bus/coach is the best option but how long (time with traffic) is the journey? And I'd appreciate if you could tell me which line is the cheapest (national express or other). And also how is the current check in situation at the London airports? Are there still considerable delays, (meaning that you need to arrive much earlier for flgihts to te U.S)? Thanks!!

Every major urban conurbation has at least one or two well heeled suburban areas known to be something beyond just another upper middle-class executive bedroom community. Thes kind of places shout character, natural beauty, poise, understated elegance, dignity and stateliness, all while not appearing too flashy and new money. Name a few leafy villages in the Home Counties that match this description. These kind of places usually attract more artisits and professionals than the executive and managerial types.
