I'm a mexican girl, I'm going to London in April for the very first time. I need some help with this questions:
1. What should I wear, I mean, what's the weather like in that month of the year?
2. I have my passport, but do I need something else?
Thanks :)

You will find that London will have showers (light rain) and you will need to wear a light rain jacket. Jeans and jumper or blouse with sensible shoes would suffice. Bring clothes that you can add to or take away from (dress with cardigan, if hot you can remove cardigan, if cold you can put on cardigan). Most people would wear jeans, blouse/jumper with rain jacket during the day. In the evenings you can wear whatever you like but if going out you will need a coat.

If you're asking about the passport for identity reasons, in England we don't carry ID. It's not law here. London is a multi cultural city and there are a lot of places to go. Please be aware that there are some lovely people and some pretty bad ones - be aware of pickpockets (they sometimes work in gangs), do not keep all your money in one pocket. Ensure if you carry a handbag that you put the strap across your body, if you only have it over one shoulder it is easy for a thief to run past and snatch it. Do not use your mobile phone (if you can), in a public place, thieves will take it from you.

Stay safe and be aware. Enjoy your stay.

Take warm clothing as the temperatures are not moving up very well. Jeans and not shorts for sure. A fold away umbrella would be a real asset.. Waterproof top and a fold away rain hat would be good. The water proof is useful to keep out cold air even if it is not raining. The rain is likely to be in showers with sun in between. Your coach will take you to Stratford which is some way from London so the same clothing will be what you need. If visiting the Shakespeare museums the coach will take you and drop you off as they are well scattered around the area. Have a great time.

Ignore most of the silly answers so far. I will try to put you in the picture. Spring should have arrived but April is notorious for showers. It should be quite warm (for London low 60F). Jeans are for normal wear. A lightweight waterproof jacket with hood. Good shoes. You will need your passport and most likely a Visa - make inquiries at your British Embassy/consulate. It should be sunrise at about 6.30am (Summer Time will be in) and Sunset about 8.30pm. Have a wonderful time. Ask at your hotel about places to avoid, as with all large cities, there are of course places to avoid. Drugs are common in certain areas and street crime likewise. Don't be frightened but be aware.

Hello Mexican girl.

You should wear very little.
A pair of white socks is enough.
Nobody wears anything more than that in London in April - unless it's raining.
Then they might wear gloves as well.

Don't bother to take anything else with you.
You will find that all the men will want to give you things.

That should answer all your questions.

Oh, by the way - In London, wear white gloves with white socks.
Especially in April.

And make sure you smile at all the men.
They like that in London.

Have a nice time.

It's hard to say but you'd want to be prepared. It probably will rain so bring a raincoat or umbrella with warm clothes like jumpers, but also bring your sunglasses just in case you catch some warm weather. best to check http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather before you leave.

If you need someone to show you around London I'm more than happy to help, just get in touch.

Bring a mix of clothes, warm clothing and lightweight clothing, can't go far wrong with denim jeans and a sweatshirt. If you need anything else there are plenty of shops and markets for clothes.

You may need a travel visa.

While you are in London have a great time!!!!!

above are the average highs and lows for April in London. Average high is approx. 54 degrees and low is 38 so it's going to be cold.

Also, unless you are a citizen of another country and require a resident alien card I presume you need nothing besides your passport.

The weather should be in the low 60's. You will need a warm jacket and a couple of jumpers but a few spring outfits too. Jeans are good.

In April we often get sunshine and showers.

Warm welcome and you'll have a great time here!
