I have Spina Bifida and live in the U.S.A., my boyfriend lives in London and I would like to move there to be with him. He doesn't have Spina Bifida so he can't really tell me what I can do medically to live there comfortably.

I would like to know who can tell me about medical supplies and how to get them delivered to his home when I move in, and what is the best hospital to go to in London for Spina Bifida patients. I am also looking for friends who could help me and who can relate to my situation. Also, can you explain how NHS works?

IF YOU DON'T have Spina Bifida please do not answer my question. Also, if you could please give me your e-mail address, I will e-mail you mine and also add you to my buddy list on Yahoo or MSN. Thank you very much for your help. Best answer gets 10 points. God Bless!

I don't have spina bifida, but I think your best plan would be to contact the Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.

ASBAH is the leading UK registered charity providing information and advice about spina bifida and hydrocephalus to individuals, families and carers. They have a network of advisers and support services, and could probably put you in touch with somebody in the area you are planning to move to.
