I arrive at MADRID airport at 16.30 and leave the following day on a 13.40 flight. Should I go into the centre of Madrid overnight or stay closer to the airport. It would be nice to have an everning in Madrid but I am a bit worried about getting back out to the airport in time for check in. Any info on transport links and hotels to stay in would be appreciated. Thanks.......

We're going to Spain in April, and we have 2 full days to drive from Barcelona to Laguardia. Where should we spend the night (we were thinking Zaragoza, just because it's about halfway) and what should we see on the way? We're from Canada. Basically, I will be in Barcelona for this sunday- whole day, and leave the morning after. I accidentally booked a Monday morning flight instead of an evening flight. There my and my friend have decided to roam the streets at night cancelling our hotel ( we are cheap budget students!).

i´m not the sort of person who goes out at midnight to a bar and gets smashed like most americans who are in spain. i also dont go sit in a cafe and read, im not a dork. i really woudl liek to go out for a run, but apparently in spain you can only run in a park. theres no parks that i can find near where i live. peopl are ignoring me, im despairing. what can i do in salamanca, spain in order to not despair until june, the end of my sentence.
