A restaurant I can highly recommend is down on the beach ( golden mile) and is called Bar Red. It is run by a lovely Argentinian family, the owners name is Gustova. They will make you very welcome, the food is very nice and inexpensive and the setting is perfect. They cook sardines over hot coals in a boat on the beach.
