Aragon

We're going to Spain in April, and we have 2 full days to drive from Barcelona to Laguardia. Where should we spend the night (we were thinking Zaragoza, just because it's about halfway) and what should we see on the way? We're from Canada. We don't necessarily go for the typical touristy stuff and we want to try good local food!

I heard someone say that a person from Zaragoza, Spain is called Mano, or Manio. Does anyone know the truth of this?
