If you have advice about any or all of these:

1) Internet pre-travel Research
2)Good Locations in Southern Ireland
3)Economical travel and lodging options
4)Any advice at all to a first-time international traveler

I'd be much obliged.
Keep in mind, I'm a college student at University of Central Florida, and only have about 1200 dollars to spend on this. Also, I have about a month of travel time, and I am ABSOLUTELY set on going in winter.

Thanks in advance.

I'm hear that at Terengganu island the is a chalet on the tree. You have to climb the tree to get in the chalet and inside there is no electric or internet for you to feel the nature. There is also an island that we can go snorkling alone or with partners around the island with no one distrubing. Is that intersting??

I am curious to see if anyone out there has done this experiment. Were the Europeans who thought you were Canadian nicer to you than the ones who knew you were American?

I have lived in Noosa for 15 years and hate it. Everyone goes on about what a great place it is yet a fail to see what the big deal is. Anyone out there know of Noosa? What is your opinion of the place?

Next weekend a friend, her boyfriend, and his teenage son are coming to visit us. We live in Visalia (near Fresno) and there's not really that much to do outside of the normal mall, restaurants, mini golf etc. My boyfriend and I are more of the hang out types but they are bringing a teenager and we don't want our guests to be bored. Our options are:
1. Visit Kings Canyon Park, see the Big Trees, play in the snow
2. Drive to Pismo beach, visit Hearst castle, see the ocean
3. Drive to Santa Cruz (Boardwalk, ocean, Mystery Spot)
4. Visit Yosemite
5. Stay home, hang out
Which should we choose? Thanks

I often find many peope who visit Tenerife or some touristy beach off Costa del Sol, who rant about how spain is overrated and how much it sucked.... most people who visit spain is for the beaches, but most people don't know of the vast cultural and artistic whole that is Spain. Spain is a very diverse country from head to toe, and people can't possibly judge it just by visiting one city or region...
