The Humber bridge is not in the Atlantic ocean, and neither is the Golden Gate bridge. I am on the English side of the Atlantic ocean.

Hello.
I am in england, and the Humber Bridge is a bridge I have crossed many times in my job as a heavy truck driver, there are rest stops at each end of the Bridge, the nearest city to it is Hull.
I live at Warrington, which is equidistant between Manchester and Liverpool. If the bridge over the river Humber is closed due to adverse weather conditions it is a very long drive to go around it 60 miles, but at least you get to save the toll money....I am yet to cross the Golden Gate Bridge, as I have never been to California yet, .................Tony M

Humber bridge does it for me-- but I'm only 20 miles away from it, did you know that due to the curvature of the earth the top of the bridge supports are further way from each other than at the bottom?? also they put the toll booths on the Yorkshire side as those Lincolnshire chappys are not to be trusted. :o)
