What do you think of Noosa?

I have lived in Noosa for 15 years and hate it. Everyone goes on about what a great place it is yet a fail to see what the big deal is. Anyone out there know of Noosa? What is your opinion of the place?

we were there last november...its nice and all but i also think its overrated....the beaches were nice but hey..i live in the mornington peninsula vic and we have alot of great spots too......
