If we get to someplace on our own and don't know which direction to follow next, and the place is unfamiliar we call it lost. Why?

If you don't know where you are going, then any road will take you there. It sounds like you fit the bill, you have arrived at nowhere, and yes you are lost.

Besides you didn't find your way there, you just stumbled in by accident. I only give credit where credit is due.

Because you may have gotten there, but you don't know how to get to where you want to go apparently, or you would be satisfied with staying at your present location.
