Is their any organization like the gaa that would have info on folk wrestling of Ireland. Like Scotish Backhold or Cornish and Lancshire wrestling, and Gouren: Breten style. I live in Indianapolis, IN and I just went to the locale Irish fest and found out that we have six state wide hurling teams that also do gaelic football. I can't go to their practice since I have to work when they practice. I did some research and found out about folk wrestling and just wanted to see if anybody had anymore info on it.

...the All-Ireland Junior Hurling Finals?? Saw my first hurling match on vaca in Galway--the Finals between Killkenny and Cork and fell in love with the game!! Was told that Killkenny was also to play in the Junior finals against Tipperary, and was just wondering, if it happened--who won? Thanks much

I am going to be in Ireland for the Ryder Cup. We are staying in Dublin and have a rental car. Someone told me that we can't drive there (& park there) but that we must reserve seats on Irish rail and take the train & shuttlebuses. Is this true? Why can't I drive to the Ryder Cup? Please help as I actually leave today!

So my cousins who live in Ireland say that St Patricks Day isn't really a holiday in Ireland.Well it is a holiday, but no one really wears green and runs around celebrating green things like people in America do. Is this true? I mean...im Irish, but i dont feel anymore irish on St Pattys Day.And i dont go drinking like an idiot and pretend to have an irish accent. My accent is 100% natural!People think i fake it for that day...Well...anyway.Do people in Ireland really celebrate it?

I'd like to go on a nice super cheap break in Ireland, check out some beautiful countryside and generally get away from the hustle and tussle of London. Possibly stay in a cottage, and it'd be a bonus if I can get there via non flying means such as a ferry. I'd love to know you're recommendations. Oh and it's for two people and we're traveling from London. Thanks!
