I always though aer lingus was pretty cheap in general, dont know if they land in tx though,

ny to dublin is listed as 234.
I would call them and ask them if they have any parterships with airlines so you could buy both tickets through them, i see chicago and nyc as the closest cities to tx.
then of course you can search the regular travel sites: expedia, yahoo, orbitz.

I live in Texas, and flew American to New York JFK, then Aer Lingus to Shannon Intl Airport. To my knowledge, there were no direct flights.
