I am thinking of going to Dublin next April (Fri - Mon) with a few friends. Can anyone recommend a good, cheap hostel, hotel or B & B near the centre? Also what places to go at night - pubs & clubs? Thanks!

What are some good things to do and see in Ireland? My family and I went last year and saw Giants Causeway, the rope bridge, only one castle, and a few other things. Any ideas for places that are fun and unique for teens to middle age? (Also, any really enjoyable castles?) We're going to both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, so anywhere in Ireland is fine! Thanks!

Well...

My family thinks I am living in Sligo Ireland and I'm not. Sometimes they ask me things that I dont know what to say, so place help me...

- "if you go to the hospital there (i dont have any insurance) you have to pay?"

- "there is snow in sligo? what time of the year?"

- "name of a departamental store"

- "famous bookstore"

Hmmm I think that's all, anyways, if you can tell me any other detail, place do it.

My friend lives in Kilcock, near Dublin. I'd like to get her a gift voucher for a treatment for Christmas. Can you recommend a good salon in Kilcock or somewhere very nearby (rather than in Dublin city centre). I dont want her to have to travel far after she has her treatment - kind of takes the good out of it !

I am planning a trip to Ireland next year, travel from England. Any tips on good spots? I am interested in landscape, historical sites, and a bit of a night out. A touch of culture from a gallery/museum maybe? On the cheap....don't want much do I?.-) Any little tips will be useful to plan it. Thanks in advance!

When I was growing up in Cork, the 6th of January was known as the women's Christmas. Is it still celebrated or has it gone out of fashion?

After a very bad summer here in Ireland, do you think we are in for a mild winter or do you think we will have a very bad cold winter?

My furture sister in law is in love with the emerald isle. She is from Poland and fell in love with everything about Ireland when she was a lot younger. She is living with us in America, but because of legal problems can not honeymoon in Ireland.

I would be willing to pay through pay pal or money order, for someone to mail me a small bottle of irish dirt, perhaps a pebble and maybe a small flower. I want it to be a Christmas Present for my sister, so she can have a little Ireland at her wedding to my brother.

Would you help?

My grandfather is from Ireland and often sings little nonesense tunes. I saw some irish men on the tv do the same thing in a bar and was wondering what it was called. The best I can tell he sings; A diddle I dum, a diddle I dum, dum de diddle I day, a diddle I dum a diddle I dum, dum dee diddle I day.

I don't know anything about International travel, especially relocating to Ireland. Are there real estate agencies that do overseas real estate? Any ideas or suggestions on how to begin my "journey"?
