The arts scene. Very cool. Especially in Limerick city ...

And you Dubliners that don't believe me, well, put your money where your mouth is. Get yourselves down here and see for yourselves!

The weather!!
Pubs? Ireland today is not like the Ireland of five years ago, which is very, very sad indeed. Good pubs in the city centre are Buskers in Temple Bar (watch for the cobbles in Temple Bar) Q-Bar near Eden Quay and any pub on Wexford Street like Solas or The Village or Whelans.
Good clubs are Tripod on Harcourt Street, Boomerangs and Club Ms in Temple Bar, Traffic on Middle Abbey Street.
I will also tell you of some gay bars, if you'er not into that then just take it as these are places you want to avoid.
The Metroploitan Bar on Eden Quay. The George on George's Street (this one is quite well-advertised) The Deluxe on Camden Steet and Out on the Park which is on the north quay towards Dublin 7.

I only traveled there for the 2nd time recently. I returned 30th of Sept. 2007. I started in the West, and stopped in Dublin towards the end of my holiday. I have friends in Cork, Kilkenny, Galway, & Westport.

Cork was grand but we stayed more in the Midleton area.

Kilkenny, I had a Blast, Best place to eat by far is Kytelers Inn "The Inn with the Witch" They have Excellent ' 100% Irish Beef ' That Filet melted in my mouth. Absolutly the best steak/tenderloin I ever had and so thick.

Kilkenny Pubs, Well...Matt Millers w/ Friends was Awsome, and the club (late night) up the street was fun, think it was club 67 (definatly a #'ed place). Then there's always something at Langtons, but it depends what night of the week.

lol Orla, I would take you up on the challenge but I don't really feel like getting stabbed this weekend :)

if you're looking for pubs you will be spoilt for choice, but it really depends on what kind you like...just go to temple bar, your bound to find something you like there.
