That depends. Have these Romanians got an income from someplace else? If so, and it's enough to live on in Ireland, and they can prove this, then they can stay indefinitely once they apply for the necessary permit.

If they are students, then they need to be able to show this also, with a letter from the college, etc.

If they are not working and just visiting, I think they can stay up to three months.
