Where do you love the most?

We are a couple in our mid-20s and would like to feel the full vibe of Dublin from the nightlife to the sightseeing. And would preferably do that in walking distance (or easy access by public transport).

Streets that we should visit and good 3-4* hotels that are not a way off 100 pounds per room per night will be much appreciated.

Thank you

Especially around Mayo and the Connemara.

But also any other places you have visited and loved.

We are traveling with a tent on a low budget.

Hello! I am moving to Ireland for one year. I am so afraid because I have never been to Ireland before. What about the people? Are they friendly and helpful and patient? I have never met an Irish person before? I am going to Ireland to make experiences abroad and to brush up my English. But I am so afraid of Irish people.

My fiancee and I are thinking of going to Ireland for our honeymoon this coming September. We were recently on a cruise and met a fantastic couple whi live in Cork City but also have another house near the beach about 50 miles from their house. They invited us to go to their beach house for the honeymoon. So nice of them, I know. So, my question is we would be flying from Philadelphia, PA. Anyone know how long it would take to fly there and have you flown from the states to Ireland before? If so, what airline did you use and where did you fly in to? I am think we would fly straight to London and then onto Cork. What is the weather like that time of year? It would be mid-September. Thanks for your input.

I am thinking of heading to Ireland once my working holiday visa is up in the UK. However I am trying to work out which city to move to. This is going to be based on Salary and Rent. What is the average hourly rate for an accountant (not qualified) and how do I find a room to rent? Any tips would be appreciated. Also any other ozzies out there, how did you go with finding a job with being only allowed to work 3 months in one job?

Also, if I'm completely floored walking down the street will I get arrested even if I'm not bothering anyone? I'd hate to get a drunk in public on the way back to the hotel.
