I've never heard of it. Are you sure it is in Dublin?
There are many small castles in the Leinster area - it could be one of them.

**edit**OK, I checked with the ISA - this is a misprint on the website.
The competition is at Slane Castle which is close to Slane village in County Meath.

I asked my boyfriend (who comes from a suburb of Dublin and also went to University College Dublin for his first degree) and he has never heard of it either.

I suspect someone's pulling your leg, or has been watching too much Father Ted and is still undergoing the aftereffects of the recent Father Ted festival...
