Apart from the ones in the Dail, and pet snakes, the ans is no, Ireland does not have snakes

Yes actually there are some in the Wicklow mountains but they are there due to pets being lost etc. St. Paddy didn't really get rid of them, because there were none.

No, we don't have wild snakes.

We got cut off from the rest of Europe before they arrived.

We're also missing a few other creatures - I may be wrong but I don't think we have moles or weasels either!
