I am thinking of heading to Ireland once my working holiday visa is up in the UK. However I am trying to work out which city to move to. This is going to be based on Salary and Rent. What is the average hourly rate for an accountant (not qualified) and how do I find a room to rent? Any tips would be appreciated. Also any other ozzies out there, how did you go with finding a job with being only allowed to work 3 months in one job?

An unqualified accountant can usually get around €20 an hour (depending on experience). The main recruitment agencies are Premier, BDO and Hays.

There are more jobs in Dublin than the other cities but Dublin is much more expensive and has more traffic problems.

As for finding a room - most cities and towns have local papers with classifieds for people looking for a flatmate.
