I want to book a hotel around the station "PTE DE
VANVES" in 15th rea Montparnasse, is that a safe area at night? Or I should stay near the Eiffel Tower area as a tourist? Please help. I need to book my hotel stay soon. Any other area recommanded (safe and close to the tourist area). Thanks !

I keep reading no white sneakers - are brown or beige okay? What do French women wear when they want to be comfortable while taking long walks?? Also, what type of shoes do men wear? Any brand names/style names would be SO helpful! We're going for the first time in June:-) Thanks so much.

So this guy sent me this message, and I don't know what it means... this could be the start of a romance... please translate if you can! Here it is:

Salut Bernadette,
comment vas-tu depuis la dernière fois? J'avoue avoir beaucoup réfléchi à ta proposition et j'en suis arrivé à la conclusion qu'il faudrait que tu consentes à me révéler ton surnom le plus troublant.

I went to The American School of Paris and Roscoe's (not the real name but the name that ASPers called it) was where most ASP and some BSP and ISP students went to drink formi's and play drinking games. Is it still open? Also, what was the name of the light weight drink that was made of beer and grenadine mixed together? And yet again, how much is a formi now?

Taking my husband to Paris in a month, he's never been before and I'd love for it to be really special.

Want a romantic hotel with lovely French rooms and good service - within walking distance of Notre Dame & the Louvre -

Going in circles trying to find perfect place - any ideas would be much appreciated! Thank you!

I just heard that khaki pants make you look touristy, but we're leaving in 2 days and those are the only dress pants my dad really has. Not that theres anything wrong with being a tourist, I just heard your easy targeting for pickpockets.

I was wondering if anyone else has been to Eurodisney-could only afford to do a day trip from London would it be worth the expense or better waiting for my next trip and allowing more than one day? Is it easy to get the shuttle from CDG there. and what would the weather be like in September. Any hints about which attractions to head for first ??
