So this guy sent me this message, and I don't know what it means... this could be the start of a romance... please translate if you can! Here it is:

Salut Bernadette,
comment vas-tu depuis la dernière fois? J'avoue avoir beaucoup réfléchi à ta proposition et j'en suis arrivé à la conclusion qu'il faudrait que tu consentes à me révéler ton surnom le plus troublant.

"Hi Bernadette,
How have you been? I have been thinking alot about your proposition and I have come to the conclusion that you must tell me your worst nickname."

While all the other translation are passable, this one is more how it would be said in english.

My translation as below.

Hi Bernadette,

How are you doing since our last discussion?

I have thought a lot abouit your suggestion and I have come to the conclusion that you should reveal your disturbing nickname

The translations given so far are inaccurate regarding the last part of your friend's message. I see it this way:

"Howdie Bernadette: How goes it since our last time? I must admit, I have thought long and hard about your proposal, and I found most troubling to conclude that you would have to agree to reveal your nickname to me."

Hi Bernadette,
How have you been since we last spoke/met? I have been thinking about your proposition a lot and came to the conclusion that you should agree to let me know your most troubling/disturbing nickname.

Hello Bernadette, how do you go since the last time? I acknowledge
much to have thought of your proposal and I concluded from there that
it would be necessary that you agree to reveal me your most disconcerting nickname

how are you since the last time? I confess to have thought a lot about your proposition and I arrived from it to the conclusion that it would be necessary that you agree to reveal me your most disturbing nickname.

Plug it into the Babel fish translator: http://world.altavista.com/

EDIT: It seems to me that if the questioner is using the nickname "Misadventure" in her correspondence with this person what he is really saying in the last part is "you must tell me why you use this (meaning "Misadventure") troubling nickname."
