I have heard that one can get the lowest fares by ordering mid-week. However, I'm noticing that the air fare quotes even vary by time of day. I am making international reservations that are quite expensive and have found the fares are varying by over $100 depending on time of day. Does anyone have suggestions?

While researching possible relocation I noticed that flights to Phoenix, Detroit, Nashville, Memphis, Vegas are extremely high. Almost none of these flights offer non-stop service which I don't understand. Being from Detroit a flight from here to Chicago is about $70 yet a flight from Little Rock to Memphis (about the same distance) is almost $300.

About the toilets in the aeroplane, WHY does it make such a loud and startling noise when flushed?

And where does all the human waste go, or does it, is it stored and removed later, or is it dumped during the flight???
