in my mythology class we read a story about how zeus turns into a thunderstorm and gets a woman pregnant. how is this possible????????????????????

Metaphorically speaking, thunder is the creative force of life, as it is of nature, so of course it has the power to impregnate. Not just in mythology. Ask any poet. Or read the comics. Remember Captain Marvel? Whenever teenage Billy Batson speaks the wizard's name, Shazam, he is instantly struck by a magic lightning bolt that transforms him into an adult superhero empowered with the abilities of six mythological heroes. Get it? He was impregnated with all that power by the lightning and thunder accompanying it. Or was Captain Marvel too long before your time to recall? Too bad this question wasn't asked seriously. Or am I wrong about that, sasquatch...?
