Hello.

I am trying to mail something from the USA to my niece, who is studying abroad in Egypt this year. The letter she sent me had this address:

35 ABU FEDA STREET
ZAMALEK, CAIRO
EGYPT

Can anyone please help me find the postal code? I asked her and she said she doesn't know. I tried looking on on addressdoctor.com and it gave me the postal code for a totaly different province. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have a family member who is studying abroad in Cairo, Egypt this year and her birthday is coming up. I wanted to mail her a gift card/credti card so she can get what she wants/needs. Am I allowed to mail currency to Cairo, Egypt? I heard there are prohibitions that do not allow currency to be imported into Egypt. It would only be for about $25 or so. If anyone knows, please advise. Thanks.

I'm really curious about what the difference is between what we hear on the news and what's actually true. In the West, we can't imagine going out in public fully covered or not being able to work in all of the same jobs as men, but I've heard that the women actually living in Saudi Arabia view things much differently, and some feel that the laws encourage respect.

Why do people (who claim to be from SA) keep telling others on Yahoo forums that South Africa is a safe country to visit and live in?
SA newspapers daily report more murders and atrocities.
Some facts about SA.
50 murders a day. A DAY!
53000 reported rapes a year. Estimated at least that number again is unreported. Many rapes carried out by HIV/AIDS positive males.
10000 white farmers murdered between 2005 and 2006.
Since Feb 2007; At least a dozen tourists attacked and mugged at knifepoint on Table Mountain. One of SA's prime tourist attractions.Tourist women gang raped on Durban beach. Tourists mugged on Durban beach. 32 coach tourists robbed by 3 thugs at gunpoint whilst having breakfast in Cape Town.
These are not isolated incidents!
Carjackings and in-car murders carried out on a daily basis. House break-ins and house murders carried out on a daily basis.
Violence against whites, in particular tourists, seems to be increasing.

Try to do five! You can use any traits and not only characteristics. And just one of your figures should be political, eg. Eugene Terreblanche = Hagar!

When will we learn that beating the Aussies in cricket takes heart and discipline. And how can we ever defeat this formidable side?

Could this be the same as what happened to Escobar in the Football World Cup of 1994, when Escobar was shot after the Columbia lost to Romania?

Try being cheerful if you're going to respond...
Here's my "dream"... Whites could also speak some of the official languages eg. zulu, xhosa, sotho...etc.
Blacks wouldn't have had a problem learning their new visitors language nor Afrikaans.
We'd learn about their culture and they'd learn about ours...
They'd also adopt black names, and schools set up would teach not only the white ways but every other races way...
Imagine we dressed like Indians, lived in Huts that had taps and electricity and that was a huge norm...etc... (I can dream cant I?)
