What would be a good sailboat for single-handed world cruising? Something around 28 to 36 feet.

I am going to play water polo but I have glasses. I can't see well without them. Should I get contacts? But if I do, won't they fall out because you can't have goggles?

I would love to build one, but need all the info and wood types and bolt types and finish types. Preferably a website but anything would be great.

I'm trying to see how many people really believe sailing isn't a sport. I'm on a varsity A sailing team, and it is way more intence than volleyball and stuff like that. Pisses me off when people say you just sit on a boat and get fat. They have no clue what they're talking about.

The question is: Do you think sailing is a sport, or just an activity?
