Which title is more important? I mean the people who win the triple crown say it's better but come on, to be world champ... that is what Kelly Slater is known for.

I just moved to the central valley (near Fresno) from San Diego. I'am close to all of the central coast surfing hot-spots, including Santa Cruz. I'am a dedicated and experienced surfer who always goes out in the water with a good attitude, and I always show respect (I never drop in on anyone). I can also defend my self against local kooks (the people that think that they own the water and the beach) if I have to. Anyway, I want to start surfing in Santa Cruz (because the surf is supposed to be world-class) and some of my buddies back in San Diego told me that Santa Cruz locals are really bad, meaning that they threaten people with knives and guns, and I also heard that Santa Cruz, in general is the "Murder Capital" of the West Coast. Is there any truth to this? If so, then I will go up there prepared.

I'm looking to buy my first kayak. I know for sure I like the Old Town Loon 138 so something along that line would be great. I was wondering, for a smaller person does the width and/or length make a difference? I was also looking at the Calypso Women's Kayak Light Touring. Both can be found at LLBean. These or any other kakay around $500-$750 would be great. Thanks =)

Well I guess i just want opinions, on which to get.

I currently live on a fairly large lake with alot of watersports, skiing boating fishing etc. and also have a pontoon boat which is one of the slowest on the lake. I see folks on jet skiis zoomin by and i get a little jealous.

Also there are woods all around with plenty of off road trails for a 4 wheeler atv, which is also a alot of fun. I want both but not possible right now, i think i can afford a new toy to play with and wonder what everyone thinks pros cons of both? which would you choose..Let me know what you think please i cant decide

I have recently started to Cox for my universitys A10 novince rowing team. I have never doing any kind of rowing or coxing in my life, i'm 2 weeks into it and I have gotten decent at stearing and conducting pratices.

We have a race agenist another school on saturday, anyone have any good phrases I can yell to motivate my boys?

(Currently all I know are Power 10's and just being like "good job boys keep it up")

----------------------------------------

Also if during pratice if you have any funny sexual coxwain calls such as, "Give it to me Harder! Much Harder, or Really drive it in!" Could you give them to me cause I like give my boys something to laugh about during are 3 hour pratices in the cold...
