I'm looking to buy my first kayak. I know for sure I like the Old Town Loon 138 so something along that line would be great. I was wondering, for a smaller person does the width and/or length make a difference? I was also looking at the Calypso Women's Kayak Light Touring. Both can be found at LLBean. These or any other kakay around $500-$750 would be great. Thanks =)

The flatter the bottom, the easier to roll = whitewater.

A more V shaped hull is for paddling distances.
