My son absolutely loves the game of soccer/football. He played for his JV team at the highschool, when their coach quit he ended up playing just 'practice' and 'sub' at the Varsity games. When he was put in at the games, he scored multiple times, but is/has been ridiculed endlessly by the Varsity players for not knowing how to play (he knows how), for not being agressive then for being too agressive, for basically just being there in the game. Now he plays at Crossroads Soccer for our state (LA) and his team is once again made up of mostly the Varsity team from his school. So instead of him having fun and enjoying his soccer experience, he is now very down on himself and thinks that what they say is true and he isn't any good. Although we all know differently, he is just on a team with 'glory dogs'. All about what they do for themselves not for the team.
The coach isn't any help. My husband has talked to him about it and the behavior continues and he never gets on the players.

seriously, their mediocre at best. did you c what ma ppl ghana did to you at the world cup, did u see what czech rep did? seriously where do ppl come from. u call donovan, beasley and the others talent? il admit those players are good.......but no where near great and will never be

Learn from the realy PRO Argentina , Brazil , Uruguay , Peru, Colombia , Chile , ETC ETC , South America has the best Football / Soccer today , Bring coachers , Trainers and Players and the MLS will learn the true Football / Soccer , No the mediocre europeans Players , or like European lig that they go to South America to get more peoples to play in there teams soo they keep learning .

ive played before with people who knew the actual rules but ive never been explained the positions and who is supposed to be where when or what exactly is offsides how do i know when that happens cause 1 day i might want to put together an organized game of soccer

Ok so one of my "friends" who has a pretty mean additude said that if i joined her team for soccer i would ruin it for the team. But to be honest she has never seen me run and i know that runninga 7 min mile is pretty good. right? and shes well not so fit after all. I wanna know what kind of drills i can do to learn how to handle the ball and run well.
