yes, since hes a hot guy, he can in fact make millions in advertisements. c ronaldo is pretty hot too though but hes young and hasnt been around for as long as beckham. zidane is old and retired. ronaldo is fat and not as good as he used to be. henry is a fool.

the amount of money david beckham is going to make in los angeles is sickening (yes that is part jealousy on my part :] ) no team in europe would pay a player that much (not YET that is) ...plus beckham has alot more marketing power than those other players and makes the team alot in different sales. but the main reason is just cause the galaxy are nuts :)
as for being hot and marketing...yeah it helps ... zidane is likely to have alot less screaming girls asking their dad to buy them everything with his face on it than beckham is ..if you notice ...guys are the big market..however they spend alot less on individual player merchandise...the posters the pictures..the little keychains thats mostly girls that "love" these players and like to own anything with their face on it when guys is mostly general club stuff rather than individuals.

It really depends on where the player is playing. But then again, you have to see all the advertisements, sponsors, and commercial tactics the player takes. The only thing players unlike Beckham have been in is promotionals for soccer or world hunger. Beckham is very commercial.

The simple answer is advertising and marketing. I guess David has a fantastic manager who is able to get great deals for him even though he is not the best in the world. Same thing happens in Hollywood - the best actor/actress may not receive the highest movie pay-out.

because you can make more money off of beckham. sure these guys are dishing out 50 million a year, but im sure the money they will mskr on him will be double.

unfortunately, regardless of talent and skill on the field, beckham has more power and fame than the others. he does so many extra things outside of football that he gets all his money from... and really, its sometimes really disgusting how some ppl who don't know anything about football worship him..they don't care how he plays as long as he always looks that good.. the move to L.A. definitely changes my opinion of, not that he was one of m favorites anyway...

because he has more phisical attractive than the others... he is a "seller player", i mean, he sells many merchandaising products, specially shirts with his name or number. he's also the face of many many brands, such as adidas, and other perfume brands

becuz all the other players u named aren't as hot as him.....outside of football beckham is the face of many brands such as "police" sunglasses and endorses many others....most of his extra money is from advertising
