Switch off every other day between lifting wieghts and running. Work up to 5 miles slowly. Every other lifting day should be switched between upper and lower body. Stay dedicated and you will be in perfect shape.

If you want to better your skills you should play pickup games a couple of times a week. not only will you be running but you will also get a better understanding of what players will do and how to react to certain situations. besides if your like me i hate just jogging so i go to a open field with a ball and for about an hour i will jog around the park working on my foot work. hope this helps you!!

Run, run, run, and when your tired, run some more! I am not sure what grade you are in, but during hihg school two-a-days they run you like there is no tomorrow! Go outside and run a mile or two a day. It is ok to walk a little bit to catch your breath, but remember after the first time you stop to walk you will want to walk more often. You have to be mentally strong, becasue your body can take it. Also, run sprint drills everyday, such as suicides. There is no secret, it is as simple as running and training your body to endure the pressure you put on it.

My soccer team conditions by running and weight lifting. You should run at least a mile every day. Running up hills really builds up your leg muscles. Also lift weights work on your legs say one day and your arms another.

just like what everyone else is saying....you should run...for long periods of time to build your stamina. when you run, you should alternate between jogging and sprinting. for example, jog for 5 minutes then sprint as fast as you can for 1, then jog and sprint, etc. this will help make your legs stronger. and lifting weights will help make you stronger in general but focus on your quads.
