I am very proud of my boys and I love Germany's reaction to the Game. Afterall with all the scandals about Italy lately - it makes me want to ask the question whether or not they have also paid the Referree in the Semi-finals vs. Germany. Regardless, I wish them Good Luck tonight and also wish Italy Good Luck in the final Game!

Brasil has for such a long time had the best footballing talent, and they were favourites to win this world cup. Can someone offer a more in depth reason why they played such bad football other than reasons such as;

The players are old (because it was not just the old players who played badly)

S.American teams dont do well in EUropean World cups (because i know its true statistically, but surely a good enough team shud be able to break that curse)

Italy in the final by default! In the game with Aussie Grossi deliberately fell down after he went past Neil. Every conceivable view of that incident emphasis it. Conversely, he stayed down feigning insult and injury & waiting for the Ref's verdict. The whole crowd Aussie's & some Italians entirely stunned & appalled at the Ref's decision. Thus Italy went thru on default & the Ref not stripped of further officiation. It being the most shamefull display of deceipt I've witnessed! Grossi's behaviour nothing short of appalling, distasteful and utterly shamefull to the good name of italy!

Once in the penalty area its becomes nothing but a diving ground with players taking dives and/or feigning injuries. Surely, penalties should be removed from the International football scene. Conversely, why serve red cards when players are exhonerated for the feeblest of reasons and play in the next match. A red card should mean a player is not only off - he's expelled from the tournement
