It's a tough one, since both teams have a good defense record having only conceded 1 goal for italy and 2 for france throughtout the finals. The outcome could hinge on a single mistake or a flash of magic. While i'm leaning towards the italians for the magical touch. 1-0

I'd rather want a France vs.Portugal final in Euro'08. I want a entertaining final not a boring final.I hope Italy and Germany would not face each other at the final because these team lack entertaining soccer.

Italy will beat France 2-0 I think. Italy has younger , more talented players and great players like Alessandro Del Piero , Francisgo Totti , Giginai Buffon and Zambrotta.

I think you mean Euro 2000, right?
If France wins with the final with the refs help as it did euro 2000 then I think FIFA will loose all its credibility. And from what I've seen on the other games, it would seem that it is a real possibility...

Italy is a great team,Cannavaro&Buffon created a wall,and they are the best defenders of this years cup,also in attack they did a great job so far.With all that match-fixing stuff and all those scandals they made it after all,the team is united,they have the same thoughts\moves,they are in great shape,and they didn't had the chance to kiss the cup since 1982!
I respect France as well,Zidane is one of the greatest footballers ever.
I'm half italian anyway,so FORZA ITALIA!!!

I hope Italy will beat France because I'm Belgian and work with lots of French people and I can no longer stand their attitude ! Believe me ... Forza Italia !

Very hard and almost impossible to say.
This final sets two strong teams against each other, but they have different temperaments and different skills. I would not feel confident enough to call it for either side, and I think that this will be anyone's match to win, as long as both teams play at their highest standard and use their skills to the full.

I hope Italy win, the performance they gave against Germany was outstanding and for me they deserve it.
Aint it funny though, the last time Italy was involved in match fixing was in 1982 and guess what, they won the world cup that year.

you have something to know france have old player but experience player italia have experience and strong defender in the world and also do not forgot goalkeeper BARTHEZ is old he cannot hold a ball in is hand france have problem whit a goalkeeper if bufon one of the best goalkeeper italia passes and shoot i think italia will win i can bet life for that game if see france they play whit zidane if no zizu no foot ball for france the game will nice to whatch wish you'll not miss it
