Football (American) - December 2007

It is almost always teams you don't care about (in the last 20 years my team has been in it once), a half time show that lasts four and half hours, and about 50x as many commercials as a normal game. I think the playoffs are exciting, which the championship games to be the best of the year, but when the superbowl comes, i no longer give a ****. Is anyone else like that?

The Patriots won their Super Bowls in 2001, 2003 and 2004. The first known instance of New England using spygate was nearly 2 years later, at the end of 2006.

Are these the same people who hate due to sheer jealousy or the fact that they love sticking it to the fans, or the ones who love to talk but sly away when asked to back something up?

i know they have not won much and probably never will. booing santa, cheering when payers get injured. i think they are just miserable in their own lives, so they radiate it out towards others - LOL! GO COWBOYS!!!!

Former national champion coach put a program like FLA Atlantic on the map and his strategy made Rusty Smith look like a top college QB.

Start: Brett Favre or David Garrard?
I'm playing for first place and I'm projected to lose by a few points. Every point counts. Favre is projected to have 11 fantasy points while Garrard is projected to have 12 fantasy points. I would usually pick Farve. Factoring in weather/matchup for Farve... I'm not sure what to do.

Favre:
Playing away vs the bears
Weather is predicted to be 30mph wind and a 30% chance precipitation.
Bears beat the packers earlier this season and limited Favre
Bears seem to play up against the packers
Packers are semi playing for home field advantage (if the cowboys lose one more game and packers win out)

Garrard:
Usually doesn't put up as much yards and scores as Favre
Playing away
Playing in sunny Oakland
Playing a awful, but last week only gave up 21 points to the Colts and only 1 touchdown by Peyton Manning of those points

Distracting Tony Romo in a game, just so you can win? I hate you eagles... I truly hate you. I dislike y'all as a team, and as fans more than any other team. In my book, y'all lost, and we'll still be in the playoffs, and we'll whoop you in the playoffs, if you even make it. And we'll make it to the superbowl, unless we get beat by the Packers, who would at least play a fair game.

I have lived in Wisconsin for 7 years now and over the past 4 NFL seasons there has been the up and down debate on weather or not Favre should, is or will retire. I know that he is a living legend in football and has indefinately left his mark on this sport and I think the NFL comentators love talking about him every game then commentating on the game itself. Should he do what Seinfeld did and retire while on top, (If the Packer's make it to the Superbowl), or continue onto further seasons, not knowing what the outcome might be? Your thoughts.

I have seen some ungracious Ohio State fans here but I also don't like LSU. Why are the tigers always playing for the title at home?

Should I opt to not care or watch this game? That'd be so not cool because I'm a college football fan?

I would love it and think even though they will have to pay Nolan to do nothing, it would be worth it because Bill Cowher would put fans in the seats and make them a winning team which means more revenue!!

Say that theoretically that the results are similar, just attained differently (one through running, and one through passing.

I know some people absolutely love the running quarterback thing, but I would rather leave that to my RB and let my QB focus on throwing.
