Favre... He is playing in the cold, outside, playing for the possibility of home field advantage for playoffs.
Not Saying Jags won't play hard, but I have a better feeling with Favre

The last time I checked Favre played in Green Bay where it gets just as shitty as it does in Chicago. They don't call it the FROZEN TUNDRA for nothing. Plus you are talking about a MAN playing with BOYS. Nothing seems to fade Brett, remember what he did when his father died last year. Even under all that distraction he still put up sick numbers. Lets face it Chicago's defense isn't what it was in the past so don't worry about starting him. Garrard is not a bad start but the jaguars love to run the ball more then they like to pass. With Fab 5 Freddy and MJJ I think that Favre is the better start. Good luck this week I too am going for the championship in both of my leagues and I need Jennings to go nuts.

If you need to catch up, play Favre for sure. He is always capable of lighting it up - even though he has been playing hurt the last couple of weeks. Garrard is steady but will never get you big numbers.

Very close, but I will say Garrard. The weather conditions will work against Favre, who can sometimes be interception-prone. Garrard's numbers will not be eye-popping, but he will also take care of the ball -- he has only thrown two INT's all year.

I think you should start Garrard against the Raiders, chances are DG wont throw an int (with only two in the season) and Im guessing at LEAST 2 TDs. Farve is also a good choice but anything could happen with him and the Pack.
Also Jags are playing at Jacksonville not Oakland. So thats another reason to go with Garrard.

In cold weather the bears should win.
Favre should not throw to many high ones until late in the game and maybe throw waiste level.
If farve wants to sneak one in, he could run for a few first downs, and then throw a few long ones and he could do a few more than average run plays. lol :)

I am going with Garrard as my starter this week because they are playing for a playoff spot, and have a new motivation with not having a single player on the Pro Bowl after being the third best team in the AFC. And the game is going to be in sunny Oakland as opposed to the midwest where I am at freezing as we speak. The major reason that I wouldn't pick Favre this week is because it is a division game and the Bears will be playing with the sort of late in year desperation that could be a major factor in the outcome... I hope that this helped.

you cannot go wrong with favre.. he's a rockstar this year coming back after that minor elbow injury and still owning the field!
don't worry about the weather.. lambeau is an outdoor stadium and he has been playing there tooooo long to be concerned with a 30% chance of anything and wind.

I would still go with Favre, they are from the horrible weather state. He is playing for home field advantage. Go with Favre

Favre will own the Bears, and as the one above said, they're trying to snatch home field from the Cowboys
